Trip May 29 th

Drove from 7am to 8pm , stopped at an amethyst mine where i found some nice pieces.Crossed into the central time zone (gained 1 hour)and crossed the border line where the sign said all rivers from this point flow towards the arctic ocean.Took a long time to find a place to camp for the night....Today is May 30th found an Internet connection in Kenora. I keep checking my GPS for points of interest either there is nothing of interest in northern Ontario of my GPS does not know....I suspect there is nothing here.

Trip May 28 th

Drove to Sudbury visited Science North and the big Nickle,toured replica of a mine 70ft underground,it was cool literaly it was cold and wet in the mine,left Sudbury drove a little norht od Sault Ste Marie to a campground will head to Thunder bay tomorrow

May 28th ,I am in Sudbury at Science north ,fist place I could get a connection. Wednesday I drove to Killarney Provincial park spent the last 2 days there its really hot 86 degrees at 8pm,set up the tent in the shade.Thursday its still hot,went on a 4.5 km hike felt like 10km as there were lots of hills.Went for a swim in the lake water was cold but refreshing.At 5pm the park ranger came and warned me about severe thunderstorms in the area,hail and 90km winds.Decided to take down the tent and move into the van,turns out it was a good idea.....what a night hail the size of golf balls,rain and a great light show..was lucky no hail damage to the van as the trees protected me.Will attach some pictures of the area...My only problem is trying to relax and do nothing.
