I'M Back

I have returned after 21.5 thousand km,I had a great trip visited every place I wanted to see and them some(never expected to see Inivik),even though the weather did not cooperate at times and had a little trouble with the van I had a great time.Next year maybe the east coast,I have never been to NFLD or Labador.Thanks to everyone who visited my blog site,sent emails and posted notes on the blog site. Campsite Thunder Bay,Terry Fox Memorial,Kakabeka Falls


Kakabeka Falls,today I had a signal light changed on my van,got a haircut,visited the falls and the Terry Fox Memorial site where he had to stop his run at mile 3339.Tomorrow I will drive to Pancake Bay Provincial Park.The weather has been great,no rain.

Return Trip

Spent 2 days at Blakes place then drove across the prairies where i am now in Kenora.Will spend a couple of days here if there is any interesting things to see.The trip across the prairie's was a straight drive through as there were no points of interest listed in my books or at the information centres.Next stop will be Thunder Bay....DAD

Banff Springs hotel,Bow river falls.I have been exploring lake Louise and banff the last few days,severe thunderstorm came through last night and rain is forcasted today,will try to play golf today at the banff springs course if it doesn't rain.

Lake Louise

Currently in Lake Louise
I will spend 4 days here as i found out its a long weekend and without a reservation all the campsite are booked between here and Banff.The scenery is spectacular everywhere you look, weather is nice around 26 degrees although is is supposed to rain for the next two days.......Dad













Mcbride to Jasper to Athabaska Glacier

Athabaska Glacier ,it was quite a hike up to the glacier good thing i took my jacket with me it was freezing there.Jasper was ok small town,nothing much to see wiil camp south of glacier.

Giant cedars 1000 to 2000 years old,an area the loggers missed and only discovered 20 years ago,the other picturesw are around my Mcbride campsite.
